The 2nd Edition of The Solar Week Malaysia 2024, held at the Berjaya Times Square Hotel in Kuala Lumpur on August 16, 2024, was a resounding success. This prestigious event served as a top-notch platform for expanding networks, engaging in in-depth discussions, and participating in exciting industry debates. Y.M. Tunku Akmaludin Zakri Bin Tunku Dato’ Zuhri, Deputy President of the Malaysian Photovoltaic Industry Association (MPIA), set the tone for the event with an inspiring keynote address. “Malaysia’s solar industry is at a pivotal point, and our collaborative efforts today will shape the energy landscape of tomorrow,” he stated. Buliding on this Ir. Mohd Fadzil Ahmad Shah, Committee (Treasurer and Govt Liaison) of the Malaysian Association of Energy Associations (MAESCO), also shared his insights, saying, “The collaborative spirit showcased at The Solar Week Malaysia 2024 is exactly what our industry needs to overcome current challenges and propel Malaysia towards a sustainable and renewable energy future.”

Mr Niranpal Singh, Managing Director of BayWa r.e.
